Meet Jenna, a new team member with Spot on Dogs. We sat down with Jenna and asked her a few questions!
Q: What is your favorite part about working with dogs?
A: Being able to see the difference you are making in their lives and with their owners. Along with the snuggles!
Q: Why did you decide to pursue this as a profession?
A: I wanted something to add value to my current job and I enjoyed by Animal Behavior class in university. I like to be challenged as well, so this seemed like something new and exciting.
Q: What education and experience do you have?
A: I have my BSc from UPEI, I worked at a wildlife park for three years and now I have been at m current veterinary position for 7 years. I have been with Spot on Dogs since February 2024.
Q: Which dog training technique do you consider the most effective and why?
A: I like to think that the smallest techniques have the biggest impacts. The focus training practices are the bases of many advanced training lessons.
